Primary catcher on defense, does a good job of setting up low behind the plate, has a good idea on his footwork and repeats it well, good direction into his throws, compact arm action. Employs a low side saddle start with clean reclining actions. Displays clean footwork gaining ground well from behind the plate. Flashed quick transfers into throws with good arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow upright open stance with a small left leg trigger into contact, gets good rotation from his lower half and gets into his hips to drive his swing, short and compact swing, high hand set, and a high back elbow, shows his power very well in games with multiple barrels. Nice young player on both sides of the ball. Great student.
