McCanlies Field will play host to the first annual Mojo Baseball Alumni Classic at 1:00 p.m. Former PHS players will test the 2012 Varsity team in the Saturday scrimmage. Drinks and snacks will be available at the concession window. Of course, you are invited!

Over the weekend, Permian student athletes took part in the spring tryouts for this upcoming season. Qualifying upperclassman and freshman players that made the cut have been posted by assigned number. Thanks to all that tried out!

The first booster meeting of 2012 was held on Thursday, January 19. The meeting included discussions about the Freshmen tryouts. A mandatory player/parent meeting will follow the coming week on Tuesday, January 31 at the old weight room by the fieldhouse.

Permian's student athletes were ran through a series of drills to test foot speed and batting mechanics on Friday afternoon at McCanlies Field. On Saturday morning, coaches will have the task of narrowing down possible candidates to fill the Varsity, JV Black, and JV White rosters.
