Permian's junior varsity traveled to Abilene High on Saturday to play the final two games of the season.  JV Black lost the first game, but came back to win the second one in extra innings.

While the Panthers stayed very much in the game with the Eagles, Permian missed several opportunities to take over what ended up being a 3-1 loss to Abilene High.

Permian was unable to get a single hit against Lubbock Coronado in Tuesday's game at McCanlies Field. Walks and four batters being hit by a pitch paved the way to a 2-1 decision favoring the Panthers.

Down 2-1 after four innings, Permian added a run in the 6th and another in the 7th inning to claim a 3-2 victory over Odessa High. Mad Respect to these young men for staying the course!
JV Black Splits Doubleheader With Eagles

ABILENE - The 2014 season came to an end for Permian's JV Black on Saturday. The Panthers fell to Abilene High 5-4 in Game One of the doubleheader at Blackburn Field. Mojo rallied back from a six run deficit to claim a 8-7 victory in extra innings in the final game.

ODESSA - Hopes of a Permian three-game win streak ended on Saturday, not so much at the hands of Abilene High as much as by self-inflicted mistakes.  Seven offensive and defensive errors by the Panthers allowed the Eagles to pick up a 3-1 district win at McCanlies Field.
