Permian was unable to get a single hit against Lubbock Coronado in Tuesday's game at McCanlies Field.  Walks and four batters being hit by a pitch paved the way to a 2-1 decision favoring the Panthers.

Down 2-1 after four innings, Permian added a run in the 6th and another in the 7th inning to claim a 3-2 victory over Odessa High. Mad Respect to these young men for staying the course!

Too many Permian errors allowed the Cougars to claim a 7-2 win on Tuesday. Amidst a frustrating district run, the Panthers can get a little redemption on Saturday at OHS.

After taking the Bulldogs to extra innings on Friday, the Panthers returned to Midland to face the Rebels. The outcome wasn't near as competitive, as Permian fell 9-2 to Midland Lee at Ernie Johnson Field.

ODESSA - It's not often a pitcher throws a no-hitter and yet comes up on the short end of a 2-1 decision. That would be the case for Mustang pitcher Jake Pape, as Permian knocked off Lubbock Coronado in District 2-5A action Tuesday afternoon at McCanlies Field.

ODESSA - In the first meeting between cross town rivals Permian and Odessa High, the Bronchos enjoyed winning bragging rights at McCanlies Field.  On Saturday afternoon, it was the visiting Panthers that walked away with the 3-2 district win.  As an added bonus, pitcher Stephen Juarez got to celebrate his birthday on the mound.  Juarez gave up four hits, while striking out two batters.
